Martin Schumacher has held the position of CEO at METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine since January 2015. Martin joined METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine as a Commercial Director in July, 2013. In that role he was responsible for marketing, supply chain, and the buying and merchandising strategy for MCC Ukraine.
Martin has brought extensive experience to his role at METRO Ukraine. From 2009 to 2013, he worked at AlixPartners LLP, a global turnaround and restructuring firm, as a member of the firm’s retail practice. During that time, he held several interim management roles, including Commercial Director at BI-LO Supermarkets in Greenville, South Carolina and Operations Director at MAKRO Cash & Carry, UK.
Prior to AlixPartners LLP, Martin held senior executive positions at the Pepsi Bottling Group in New York and The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. (A&P), a leading US grocery retail chain. Earlier in his career, Martin worked for a family-owned food wholesale and distribution company in Germany. Martin holds an M.B.A. degree from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). He is a citizen of Germany and the US.

Malika Mansouri, Global Head of Pricing, Douglas
Malika Mansouri began working at Douglas on 15 January 2018, taking up the newly created position of International Head of Pricing. In this role, she takes over responsibility for the continued development of the group-wide strategy at Douglas – with a focus on dynamic, digital pricing. Ms. Mansouri has over 20 years’ experience in marketing, business development, and pricing. Before her appointment at Douglas, she was Chief Operating Officer at the Austrian drugstore chain BIPA and spent 12 years working for Metro Group, including as Head of Pricing for Metro Cash & Carry Germany.


Chief Operating Officer (COO) 

Steve Leven brings over 25 years of experience delivering value-driven analytical software solutions to global clients including Walmart, JCPenney, Gap, Lowe’s and numerous leading international retailers. Steve focuses on helping customer organizations unlock the full potential from their analytical solution implementations. Most recently, Steve was SVP of Sales and Account Development for the Fortune 500 clients of M-Factor (acquired by DemandTec), a leader in advanced planning and optimization software. He has also held leadership positions over large consulting teams for Infor Workbrain, ProfitLogic and Oracle Retail America.

Steve holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and an M.A. in Economics from the State University of New York.
