Sam Perkins, Group Merchandising Director, Shop Direct

Sam joined Shop Direct as group merchandising director in 2015 with responsibility for merchandising, price and promotions across ranges spanning fashion to electrical.

Sam began his career with PepsiCo and prior to Shop Direct spent seven years at Tesco in a variety of commercial roles including board member for commercial at One Stop and Telecoms commercial and marketing director.

Shop Direct is the UK’s second largest pureplay online retailer, with annual sales of £1.86 billion. Digital department store brands include the £1bn-plus Very.co.uk and brands receive 1.2 million daily website visits with mobile transactions making up 68% of online sales.
